For this year 2018, Loyola College of Culion focuses on the theme "Stronger Faith for the New Evangelization" or #STRONGERFAITH.  In the face of many trials and struggles, our community wishes to emphasize the need for stronger faith in God.  Our School Motto has always been "Fortes in Fide" which is the Latin expression of "Strong in the Faith."  It is hoped that our School's programs and activities for this year will help make our faith in God stronger.

Loyola College of Culion joined the Jesuit Athletic Meet hosted by Sacred Heart School - Ateneo de Cebu from October 25 to 30, 2018.  This is the second time that LCC participated in this biennial meet.  The LCC Delegation was composed of 16 student athletes who were accompanied by Fr. Bogs Tapiador, SJ and Ms. Khrisna Joie Batuigas.  LCC athletes competed in the following events:

ATHLETICS Boys:  Leodemier Prado (Gr. 11), Yodickson Comedia (Gr. 10), Chris Jay Carl Ronquillo (Gr. 10), Ron David Galleon (Gr. 10)

BADMINTON Girls:  Alma Jane Amora (Gr. 12), Micah Barbie Sanchez (Gr. 7), Francine Angel Prado (Gr. 7)

Though LCC is the smallest school with the smallest contingent, our School garnered a total of 9 bronze medals in Athletics Girls:

1 Bronze Medal in 800-meter run:  Austria

4 Bronze Medals in 4x100m Relay: Austria, Castro, Celestial, Galleon

4 Bronze Medals in 4x400m Relay:  Austria, Castro, Celestial, Galleon

More than the medals, however, our delegation won many friends from other Jesuit Schools who all share in the mission of promoting the Greater Glory of God ... AD MAJOREM DEI GLORIAM.
